aug 14, 14 (thu).........4人嚟dinner.........叫咗 :

1) rojak (hk$62)
-a vegetable and fruit salad with chinese crullers in a special penang prawn paste rojak sauce, topped with a sprinkle of peanuts
-我so far食過幾次rojak.........但我覺得呢個最好味
-上網睇先知rojak都有地域性..........新+坡,馬來西亞同印尼..........呢款喺馬來西亞style.........我以前食的喺印尼style
-呢個用咗新鮮嘅楊桃,蓮霧,青瓜,魷魚片,油炸鬼片..........生果熟甜,又帶爽口...........魷魚柔軟.........油炸鬼薄片小硬脆.........個醬很thick,帶甜

2) penang char koay teow w/egg (hk$89)
-a signature penang hawker dish of stir-fried flat rice noodle with prawns, chines sausage, chives and bean sprouts
-option of with or without egg
-友人落order時要求炒耐d.........所以見到有點"燶"邊..........喺好現象
-有咁多材料,調味都濃
-但都喺辣多d先啱feel

3) fried carrot cake (no prawn) (hk$63)
-turnip cake cubes fried with bean sprouts and preserved turnips
-我哋無叫到有蝦的
-呢個友人落order時要求炒耐d.........所以見到有點"燶"邊..........喺好現象
-喺即叫即炒.........睇menu寫喺用上新鮮白蘿蔔同醃過的混埋1齊.........蘿蔔喺腍,但就唔會喺腍pat pat......醬汁都全附在材料上,夠味

4) singapore laksa (hk$92)
-rich coconut based spicy soup noodles served with bean curd puffs, fish cakes, prawns and half a boiled egg, topped with a sprinkle of laksa leaves
-呢個有齊晒新+坡laksa應有嘅材料........除咗鰤魽
-湯底"杰"度適中............味出.........但唔算好濃...........辣度可以提高d...........會更似喺新+坡食到的.............味蕾精準嘅食友們就會食到有蝦味
-味道都唔差........但未gd

5) penang assam laksa (hk$88)
-a signautre penang dish of thick rice vermicelli in a tangy and spicy fish based soup, garnished with fresh pineapple, mint, cucumber, onions and ginger flower accompanied by a dash of black shrimp paste
-檳城laksa喺香港唔喺咁多地方有得食............就算喺新+坡都唔易搵到 (咁當然都易過喺香港啦)
-佢嘅味道同新+坡laksa味道好唔同
-但呢個同我上年去檳城食到的差好遠............呢個都酸都辣..........但程度唔夠重手..........我個人覺得呢個嘅果味偏重添.............菠蘿味明顯.........反而魚味不出
-上次去檳城,友人book咗個相熟司機........佢帶我哋去咗1個好local又好出名嘅食肆食檳城laksa........佢又酸又辣,仲有1種有好強又難以形容嘅味道.......又惹味.......雖然個辣度已到咗我嘅上限........但食得好過癮

6) singapore otak otak (hk$42)
-peranakan spicy fish paste wrapped and grilled in banana leaf
-以前去印尼餐廳食...........會又紅色又辣
-呢個唔辣..........很香laksa味.........不過很腍身
-喺全晚最普通嘅1道菜

7) durian pudding (hk$42)
-呢個我就無食喇...........因為變成pudding...........佢哋分時就無散發出好濃嘅榴槤味
-不過放耐咗喺枱上.........我就覺得喇
-食友話"食緊嗰時好味,偏甜 (不過食友喺淡友........如果我食嘅話,可能喺剛好),滑,榴槤味普通中等,唔太濃,但食完無after taste"

8) kuih dadar (hk$32)
-rolled pandan flavored crepe filled with grated coconut in palm sugar
-個皮同裡面嘅餡濕度over咗........所以過於軟身
-餡內嘅椰絲經棕櫚糖煮過後.......真的變成了甜絲絲~~~


後記
1) 多謝食友請客.........好高興可以mount到車邊食呢餐飲

3) 呢度比我想像中抵食喎...........我哋食到飽飽.........只喺無叫drink..........晚餐都唔洗hk$150/人..........而且味道都唔錯.........尤其睇埋價$$$$.........交足功課有餘........呢餐令我好懷念檳城嗰檔laksa同珍多

4) 呢度上菜速度好快............如想輕輕鬆鬆咁食每道菜都熱嘅話...........就唔好1次過叫晒

5) 來到酒店嘅1f.........我發現n年前有嚟過呢度lobby............嗰次個potential僱主約嚟呢度interview (最後都無請到我).........不過嗰時就應該唔喺叫traders hotel
