- tofu is a commonly used ingredient in cooking hong kong dish
- this dish is easy and quick to prepare............yet nutrition
main ingredients
- ~300g firm tofu
- spring onion
- shallot
sauce ingredients
- 1 tablespoon soy sauce
- 1 tablespoon oyster sauce
- 1 teaspoon maggi
- 1 teaspoon sugar
- 4 tablespoon water
steps
1. absorb excess water of tofu by kitchen paper
3. finely chopped shallot and spring onion
4. prepare the sauce...............mix all sauce ingredients
5. heat up pan..........add more oil............when oil is hot...........add tofu
7. add in sliced shallot until fragrant
10. done
taste
-best pair with rice
-not over salty this time after reducing the portion of soy sauce by half
areas of improvement
-add more sugar to give a sweeter note
-leave more sauce to go with rice
