introduction
- lemongrass drink is very typical in thailand
- original recipe aims for a more hong kong/ cantonese style that adds chinese barley and cooked barley.............it gives the drink a wellbeing purpose ie release toxic and reduce edema (body swelling)
- coz i cant find nmic barley..............therefore i give up wellbeing function and leave it a relaxing drink
main ingredients
- 3 stem x fresh lemongrass (if you prefer mild lemongrass flavor, reduce to 2 stems)
- 1 x lemon
- 30g rock sugar
steps
1. slice 1/2 lemon and juice remaining 1/2

2. cut both ends of lemongrass and scrap the outer layer
3. bash lemongrass and chop in half
4. add 800ml hot water into pressure cooker
5. add in lemongrass
6. select pressure cook/ soup mode...........high pressure for 10 mins
7. press 'cancel' and select pressure cook/ soup mode...........low pressure for 15 mins
8. press 'cancel' and manual release air valve
9. open lid and add rock sugar
10. select pressure cook/ soup mode...........low pressure for 5 mins
11. switch off and remove from heat
12. add lemon juice and slices
taste
-love the distinct lemongrass flavor (3 stems better than 2 stems) with citrus lemon taste..............try to imagine myself in thailand
-if serve chill..........will be an ideal refreshing drink
