introduction
- a very commonly cooked quick soup in hong kong
- usually added with slices of pork
- but this is a veggie version
main ingredients
- tomato (i used 3 types - 1 x beef tomato, 1 x sugardrop tomato and 1 x vine ripened tomato <-- optional)
- potato
- carrot
- ginger
- onion (can be replaced by meat and change to non veggie version)
steps
1. cut all ingredients into small pcs...........for tomato, small wedge cut from top (otherwise may create fiber residue after cooked)
2. select pressure saute mode...........high
3. stir fry ginger slices first
4. add ingredients from carrots --> potato -> tomatoes --> onion
5. add 300ml HOT water
6. optional to take out all ginger slices (coz personal dun like my soup with ginger taste)7. select pressure cook/ soup mode...........high pressure for 15 mins
8. keep pressure cook/ soup mode...........change to slow pressure for 5 mins
9. turn off......... natural air release or manual switch air valve to release
10. optional to take out all tomato skin
12. optional to blend the soup
taste
-300ml water turned out at least 600ml soup

-natural sweet (attributed by onion) and sour
-coz potatoes almost melted leaving few biting chunks.............therefore texture of soup is slightly thick
-therefore prefer not blending soup into creamy texture, keep it hong kong style
