introduction
- meat patty is a popular dish in hong kong..............it has lots of combination varieties eg minced pork patty with preserved fish is very famous............some combination can be very creative
main ingredients
- minced meat (pork/ beef)............this time i use beef
- potato
- 3 color sweet bell pepper
- onion
- egg
- white pepper powder
- black pepper powder
- soy sauce
- oyster sauce
- corn starch (pork)/ bread crumbs (beef)
steps
1. boil the potatoes till soft
2. peel off the potato
4. season the meat with egg (little), white pepper powder, black pepper powder, soy sauce, oyster sauce and corn starch (pork)/ bread crumbs (beef)............mix well
5. 'splash' the minced meat a few times <-- for better idea, please refer to above you tube video link at 4'30"
6. diced 3 color sweet bell peppers and onion.............add into minced meat
7. mix all ingredients well
8. shape minced meat into patty..........place some mashed potato on 2 sides (up & bottom)
9. fry meat patty with medium heat...........~3 mins
10. fry the other side..........repeat until both sides are brown (can put the lid on for 2-3 mins to make sure the meat is fully cooked)
11. done, plating
taste
-meat patty is thick but not tough...........just right seasoned..........and a subtle of beef flavor

-go well with rice (photo : thai jasmine rice) or spaghetti
areas of improvement
-still weak in pan fried the stuff into crispy crust
-reduce the portion of mashed potato...........in order to increase the chance of having crispy crust
-i forget the step to fridge the raw minced meat ball for 30 mins before pan fry
